On my car, I have the same problem (last episode) and just so you know, I haven't tried starter fluid because I don't have any. But I CAN hear the fuel pump prime... It still just cranks forever. My dad says it might be a bad fuel filter, because its a pretty old car, its from the 90s i think 93 or 96 but thats what my dad says. Can you help?
So informative love your channel
This needs to be taught in schools .chris fix videos would be perfect for shop class
to you by any chance travel to another country?? :PP
what if it rises to 40 but when you turn the key completely it goes down to 30
I tried listening for that hum in my car, but I'm not hearing it. It starts and runs well, so I don't think there's an issue with the car, but it confused me a bit.
Sometimes you can hear it no problem and sometimes you have to listen very very closely, get a friend to turn the car on while you are outside and you'll hear it!
Chris Fix is easily one the best LTworlds channels, I feel like this is really the type of content meant for LTworlds, definitely earned the 7 million subscribers 🤙

@ChrisFix I have a 01 dodge 5.2 my fuel pump is a little different. every so often the truck will die/stall even when i give it gas to stay running. Would my fuel pump be bad?

Doesn’t look like a “she” to me. Weirdo
my 92 camaro rs has the fuel tank OVER the rear axel. Americans in the 90s...
@ChrisFix no lmao the last time we did it we had to cut a hole under the rear seats just to change it out.
Darn! Does it still slide over?
How to fix 2009 honda city fuel gauge always reads full tank.
You're awesome chris! It's so funny how you get great cars on cheap and get them running!

I have the code P2294 on a 2006 Audi a4 3.2, I replaced the high pressure fuel pump, the pressure sensor, the low pressure fuel pump, the low pressure fuel pump module, and the fuel filter, and my check engine light still on, and car drives poorly, don’t know what else to do, can you help in anyway?
So just replace the actual unit the breaks and save money is thr procedure the same on 05 4.0 Stang?
Is there a torque setting for the six fuel pump screws?
just checked my fuel pressure with gauge I was able to rent from parts store.15psi and building slowly to 35psi but dropping to 20psi when idling and then engine stalling after 3-7sec. Factory system psi is 43.5psi on my Subaru.
whats mean to 120k, to writing fuel filter
my dad's 1998 dodge durango had a bad fuel pump so he replaced it.
Hey man quick question will a 99-04 gt have the fuel pump relay in the same spot ?
Great job on this video. No music, thank you. Good explanations and fast forward through the mundane stuff. Thanks.
Thanks a lot!
What would be wrong on a car if I have to press the gas to start it
Chrisfix is literally a genius
I just subscribed to your channel and I like it
1999-2004 Mustangs have the fuel relay inside the CCRM. So check the fuse for the CCRM also! It is located in the engine bay fuse box labelled: F.14 (CCRM) 20AMP. The CCRM lives behind the passenger side fender. It's a small box with the fuel relay inside of it. You might be able to put your ear to the fender and listen for a click. A click doesn't mean it works ok, a click just means it receiving and handing the 12 volts OK. A true test would be a resistance test on the other two pins on the relay Hope it helps others! Great video! I watched it back in 2016, now im watching it again as my pump went out 4 years later haha!
If only changing the fuel pump on my Toyota Mr2 was as easy as this.
Is there a lot of other stuff in the way?
Chris, I tested my intertia switch by tripping it with a rubber mallet, I tripped, I reset it by pushing it back down, now my car won't even turn over when I go to start it, all I hear is a click. Please help!
Lord this gave some type of hope for my car that has been down Nd it def sounds like a fuel issue because it doesn’t wine when I stick my key in the ignition now at first it did
You should make a shirt saying hey mum let’s go drifting
Thanks for the shirt idea! I actually like that a lot!
Your videos are literally the best car repair videos I have ever seen, let alone on LTworlds. Thank you for your concise info, your pleasant and positive demeanor, and your excellent quality filming. You have my sub. And my heart.
Welcome aboard! Thanks a lot!
When you tested the probes on the connected by the fuel tank, you only did the top right 2 and all the bottom, what about the top left two?
15 years later how to build a house.
I love the way u make ur video. Easy and fast strat to the point ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Wish you the best in life
Thanks a lot!
Can a car run for some seconds and then die cause of fuel starvation or i dont know my suv struggles to turn on runs for some seconds and then it dies
My Del Sol starts randomly, the fuel pump primes occasionally, I hear clicks of relays every time but I’m not sure, last I could tell the fuel pump sounded healthy
I have to remove the bed of my 1999 Sonoma to get to the fuel pump.🙄 This wouldn't be a huge issue, except road salt has turned the bottom of my truck into an iron oxide mine and every single bolt I've tried is rusted on.
Even though I’m only 11 I’m still really loving this series as I’m going back through it. I’m also learning a lot about cars
MY life is cars ...... Chris fix please stop doing this..... LOl (I'm just kidding you good)
man i honestly cant get enough of this channel, EVERY time theres a new vid i instantly watch, please keep the good vids comingg
You can fuel my pump uwu
My dad,s mechanic did this less than 1 year before getting this tablet as a gift from my dad,s friend.
Vlog Creation - is that the fool plum?
Awesome fix Chris! Where is the place you bought the car for so cheap?
Hey ChrisFix make drift vids pls
Good job 👍
just a warning: some cars, such as the third gen (82-92) Firebird/Camaro, you have to remove the exhaust, rear track bar, and rear track bar brace in order to get to the fuel tank. it's why some people cut open a hole that leads to the fuel pump.
This video is a little old question how is your fuel pump from autozone still holding up? Need one for my civic didnt know if auto zone was a good place for one
Hi Chris! How do you know if its the fuel pump and not the whole assembly?
Dang the mustang has come a long way
Most of you are probably adults But I'm a kid watching Chris fix Cause it's entertaining
Hows it been in China? Is the coron virus still a big thing?
I've got a 86 f150 that I believe needs a fuel filter, fuel pump, or egr valve hose(recently discovered it was in 2) but not sure so I'm got all 3 and running through. was heavily neglected to the point changing oil and air filter literally doubled performance lol but its a v8 and when you step off gas its dead quiet and once it warms up on highway speeds 55 mph itll go for a few miles then buck, lose power and try to regain it resulting in a bucking every couple seconds almost like turning a vaccume on and off repeatedly and eventually lose all gas pedal response until it drops to 30 mph. since my last test drive it barley could do 20. any thoughts
@ChrisFix thanks for the reply and help. I haven't checked all vaccume lines but I'm sure thats it as it wants to bog down at idle. cleaned the iac and it was partially clogged with carbon (appreciate the video included bro was a life saver lol) and I'm pretty sure the fuel pumps ok I heard it hum and pushing fuel through but you're videos have been amazing and I really appreciate it man not a single person is as knowledgeable and helpful as you are on cars wish I could sub twice cause you deserve it lol.
I would check all the vacuum lines running around the engine and replace any that are broken, and I would also clean the IAC and throttle body to ensure you're getting the proper flow to the engine: ltworlds.info/home/vaizdo-ra-as/sJqo1LdlktCthtY.html
do anyone know what the tools are called at 6:10 ?
3.6 million views, well done chris!
Hohoho I’m the fuel pump hhhhhhhhhhhhhhmhmh
I love it seeing some water coming out of ye exhaust from a cold start engine. Done this once on my mitsu, but can't remember how on earth I managed to pull it through working on a slope.
Dont forget that that switch in the truck is for Ford's only. So skip that step if you dont have a ford
I love the way he says “because” *bee cuasse*
comparison between ford and GM for fuel pump whine is kinda crazy "most" times with a ford you wont ever hear the pump whine like a GM would.
