Rust hole removal and repair. Repairing a rust hole in your car is something that should be done quickly to prevent it from spreading. You can easily do this at home with some practice and get the results you see in this video. I teach you the basics of what welder you want to use and how to weld so you can get started. I answer questions like, should you butt weld or lap weld floor panels? Rust is common at the wheel wells, quarter panels, rocker panels, and floor boards of cars and in this video I show the proper and most thorough way to remove and repair rust.

  • I'm in Canada, more rust and far more regulation! You touched on mig welding, but locally the gas tubes (cylinder/tank) are $600 to $1500 (80cf to 300cf) (first fill incl.) and contracts begin at $300 to $500 per year purchased tank or $400 to $700 with rental of tank. Also here if a buy a CO² tube, you can't do mixes as each mix is a dedicated tube colour by law. If that was not enough suppliers will not fill anyother companys tubes. Can I bypass this and if so how? The federal regulations say UN and DOT approved tubes will be willingly filled by every licenced supplyer yet the federal legislation is not enforced and seamingly has no teeth! All currency is in Canadian dollars!
