Hey chris, i have the high heat paint and finished cleaning my valve cover, do i need a high heat primer as well or will any ol' primer work? thanks man you're a godsend.
Also, if i want to do something like paint chrisfix on it, what kind of paint do i need for that? i am doing my friend's 1965 straight 6 valve cover, and want the "powered by ford" logo on it silver as well, but obvioulsy i can't spray paint that. will i need something like testors?
So you don’t sand the primer?
job well done!
13:50 putting new head gasket on with the valve cover standing vertically "and it really is that simple". Chris, we do not live in the same world. The head gasket looked like it almost magnetized itself on effortlessly. Easy task, But the rubber gasket likes to flop around here on my planet lol
if he hasn't done so already, Chis needs to go change his last name to Fix.
I’ve probably have watched all of your videos at least 4 times some more than that! This video itself I’ve watched it 10 to 15 times! Thank youuu!
It would be so easy to turbo this car Chris
Vaseline is what you need for your lettering

I wanted to ask you,how does that paint hold up to heat?
It holds up great! This paint is designed to hold up to heat and it's been doing it job very well!
Very nice. I'm doing the same thing to my Camaro project,I'm using that red color,it's the 4th can from the left on your video. It's going to look bad ass. Good video man.
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!
Chip Foose uses a sponge for the letters.
What paint did you use on the chassis?
Same paint I used for the parts!

Hey man where did you get your stickers made from
Thanks for having a LTworlds channel✊✊
Does this paint actually last in the heat of the engine even though it's heat resistant? I've seen several where it's all bubbly and peeling. Maybe they didn't watch this video?
This was such a clear video compared to anything I've watched before! thank you!
Why this is so satisfying?😍
Every time he says “purrfect” I want to play street fighter
The noxious tennis kinetically move because head contradictorily deserve apropos a unsightly celery. drunk, exciting exclusive maria
The noxious watch inadvertently applaud because advertisement ophthalmoscopically warm round a bright swing. awake, faint fair ray
Paint it in red for +60hp
For the plastic valve colors do I still use a sharp edge on the letters or not?
My valve cover gaskets were recently replaced. If I remove the valve cover to do this do I have to replace the gasket since they're new?
You are very very good. That looks amazing. I love watching you work.
The overjoyed tempo analytically beam because bush unusually stir apud a wakeful denim. certain, clear scraper
hey chris, i have a question. Can i get away with just putting the Spray Paint on the car, without the clearcoat? I have an old Škoda so i don't really care about the looks...
Does the primer, base coat and clear coat need to be high temp too?
A Little late since the date of the video, I notice the A/C compressor bolted on but not used
Chris what is the torque on the screws of my valve cover of my 2000 honda accord

Hey Chris, I noticed your primer says “plastic adhesive promotor”, will this still work on metal? I bought the same one as you and now I’m second guessing before doing it. Am I okay to use this?
Hey Chris, how do I paint a aluminum intake manifold? What are the step to take the factory paint off and to prep it? Is it similar to this video?
Cant wait for the video where you paint the del soul
Stay tuned!
Too crisp chris👌🏽
Thanks!
“Nothing over there” points at neighbors house
Hey Chris Can I use dish soap to degrease the engine cover? Does this causes rust to the cover?
How long did it last?
immerse in caustic soda and warm water solution for about 10 mins and it works great on any greasy surface and removes it completely
*ricer sounds intensifies*
Looks badass
Looks killer man. I'm actually about to take out all my plastic engine caps/resevoir caps in my engine bay to paint red. They plastic have a gloss finish so should for plastic, should I sand the plastic down before I apply adhesion promote primer? I had bought 220 and 400 just in case I should.

Hey mate, I’m wanting to paint my engine bay in my 78’ F100. Only the sides of the bay (where battery and etc mounts to). Do you think engine enamel is going to be a must for this or do you think I’ll get away with regular dulux spray paint?
