@Adam Honda98 yes he has
I've been using chrisfix25 and it still works
Why don't you you use silicone hoses ?
Great video! I would add to change the belt unless you replaced recently.
Can u show how to diagnose the cause of a overheated car and how to fix it?
thank you, this helped me alot
I thought only Subarus have engines like that.
I love having a truck like Chris. Its like he's showing only me what to do
my car requires the hole front side unmounted to reach the radiator including intercooler...that is not a beautifull sight when unmounted...
Bro your dog looks like he just did an engine change 😧
Best video on how to with do and don't. This is also the best video on line that I have seen ever, for explaining and teaching. And I watch a lot LTworlds. He is very detailed and keeps to the point! No men folk left in my family. My dad never went to a mechanic and I have expirenced high overcharge prices because that's usually what happens when you are a female. So thank you for sharing your talent. I would rate this video on a scale of 1 thru 10 I would go over and say 100 stars.
Chris fix: *leaves truck alone for two weeks* Chipmunk: "It's free real estate"
@ChrisFix 🤣🤣🤣
Pretty much haha
Do I have to change the hoses and get a new thermostat? And if so can I just replace the radiator and then do the thermostat in a couple of weeks?
Hi Chris, I was wondering that the grill/fins in front of the radiator was, it also looks similar to a radiator, you can see it at 9:08 . thanks, your videos have been great, just bought a 2003 holden astra convertible, and it didn't come with any manuals so I'm looking to secure those before i take a solid crack at my overheating problem.
aha, not so well unfortunately, I took out the battery to see the thermostat housing and when i reattached it I'm getting an electronics error check engine light, might be a bad battery or a short somewhere. car is in safe mode and won't shift gears. Still keen to give it a solid crack though! will use a multimeter and test voltage
That is the condenser for the air conditioning system! And let me know how that all goes!
i think the hole of the radiator is intentional, i might be wrong.
How do you find the leak ?
Hold on, Replace radiator AND the radiator cap?! it doesn't come with a cap? thats... kinda bullshit if you ask me, like selling a waterbottle without a lid
Chipmunk Watching This Video Be Like: 😒😡🥺😰😱

This truck was given a new life when Chris bought it
I pulled a radiator out of my 1990 Ford ranger parts truck, and the radiator was so bad it was rotted out. I drug a wrench across the front of it and it flaked apart! I was even able to stick my finger through it without any pressure at all. It was insane.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey, Chris. I went and checked my coolant protection with an antifreeze tester, the good old fashioned squeeze bulb type with the arrow indicator, and I am protected down to -45 degrees Fahrenheit, and boil over protection to 268 degrees Fahrenheit. I couldn’t be happier😊thnx for making such badass videos
My heat isn’t working and the top hose gets hot but bottom hose is cold. What could it be? I changed the thermostat. Plz help Chrisfix
My old radiator sprung a big leak so sadly I had to put on my new radiator and hoses prior to doing a flush :(
hello chris fix, can you do a video how to direct a radiator fan to a battery ? that when you turn the key on the fan also turns
Thanks for the video idea!
Some cars you have to remove the ac condensor to replace radiator which involves clearing and charging the ac refrigerant
Meanwhile... Hey guys... Chip Fix here... and today I'm going to show you how to store your nuts in this guy's Mazda Truck using just available acorns you're likely to have in the yard...
Haha yesss
Could you please do a You Tube video about the pros and cons of using engine block repair & radiator sealers as there are some Videos on You Tube about engine damage caused by using some of these products. Especially those metallic sealers containing liquid glass which is said to cause damage if these products enter the oil through cracks in the cooling system ? Your opinion on these products would be helpful.
I've also found that squeezing the coolant hoses helps disperse air pockets down lower. Great video btw.
How did that truck cool down with that junk radiator?! You're the best car mechanic I needed to change a radiator and a coolant pump that was expensive, but I searched how to change radiator I found Chris Fix I learned how to change a radiator and it saved me a ton of money
It's that simple!!!
How do you know that your replacement radiator is the correct size? Auto zone had 2 sizes of radiator for my 1994 22re Toyota pickup truck 4cylinder
Can you show how to clean the outside of the radiator inside de car?
Thank you for your videos make me feel like I can be a mechanic as well
Haha while I'm down here, I might as well replace my entire engine REAL QUICK 😂😂😂
This is so helpful to me as i am just getting into cars and have a 94 chevy that has everything broken under the sunz

Just here for the opening line, Hey Guys! ChrisFix here 🤣
chris: good me: ?????? also question: can we reuse the old fluid?
Air bubbles are coming out from the radiator cap after replacing it with a new radiator. What could be the reason?
people, you should subscribe
So I got excited and just took off my radiator before seeing your super flush video. I have the new radiator already but my cooling system is very dirty and looks like rust is caked on the hoses. Should I put the new radiator on then flush?
@ChrisFix thanks for the reply man! I’ve been watching your videos for years now and finally built up the courage to start working on my own car! Love the videos
I would hook up the old one and do the flush, then put the new one on as you don't want to flush the old stuff through your radiator/parts!
He make it look too easy and it’s not
I promise it's as easy as it looks :p
Excelentet!!!...
Would you flush the cooling system even with the hole in the radiator?
3:13 if you look to the right there are some more Chris fix videos
10:08 Mr. Bigglesworth

Bruhhh i eish i saw this ealier i wouldve shown my uncle he got troubles with his radiator it was leaking at the cap and he paid a mechanic to change the whole thing
This place is so tight, also puts the camera in most unconfortable places.😅 nice view points. From you I learned how to change the radiator, hoses, oil pan, filters, transmision, cracked windshield, how to do oil/antifreeze flushes and many more. Now I learn how to change my distribution kit - timing belt, water pump, bearings and at the end pistons, valves, camshafts, springs etc. Thank you Cris
Why dont you remove the positive cable from the battery? Isn't that the "dangerous" one? Greetings from a noob from Sweden.
Thanks, Chris. I appreciate your excellent videos that help me figure out what the heck I'm doing under my hood. Cheers,
Cooper had that "He asked me to sit here for something but I’ve no idea what, perhaps he’s taking me for a ride" look.

My raidiator coolant whats beyond rusted. And ended up taking a shit. So do I have to flush the system when I replace the radiator?
I would do a flush (ltworlds.info/home/vaizdo-ra-as/2F9fmMmmZb2ceMo.html) and then do a radiator replacement!
And people wonder why labour is so expensive lol

Sorry Mr Chipmunk, but you are gonna have to find a new place to store your nuts.

16:40 i am affraid you put little over, when the vehicle is started, the fluid should be between two point. when the vehicle is off, than fluid can be on the top of the point, but in your case it is clearly over. correct me please if i am wrong.
If antifreeze wasn’t bad for you I think Chris would drink it
My sister had a messed up radiator and paid like $800 to fix it at a shop kinda sucks when I learned how easy it was to do at home
