I know this is an older video, but I wanted to thank you for all your videos in this little used jaguar buying series. I used your car check list for inspecting and test driving a used car I was interested and it really helped me with making my decision! Lots of content I found was not as helpful as yours, thanks again!
Hey guys chrisfix here NEVER CHANGE YOUR INTRO
This is why disability should not buy a used car.
that was cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool daddy daddy cool
the guy selling the car sounds like Dellorlol
I believe u v Could give him 2000dollars
I don't want to drive it. I just want my old car back. I'm not falling for this. Let's go, Russ.

Chrisfix is like the final boss when it comes to selling your used car . I would be beading sweat .
I hear fffhh shshsh but this has help me a bit
How did you "drive home the Jag" at the end of the video? At that point wouldn't you still not have your own license plates on the car?
The moment when Frank goes with 1900 bucks and looks at his car... That made my sad for him. May God bless him for giving the car to Chris...❤
Ideas if serious about hooking up an obd? Or is that too personal? Have to buy a drink first before inserting your module?
you are a true lowballer LMAO
i am sorry but frank got fisted hard
Don't insult by low ballin, immediately offers half the asking price..
Puts car on sale Caller: hi, this is frank Hangs up phone
In my country we buy these types of used cars at least $16000. LOL
The seller needed to be more firm when saying he wanted 2k because it’s just a hundred dollar difference
thank you so much for the check list, im going for a test drive tomorrow, ill be using this check list; WHICH IS AMAZING!! if I like it I will be using this negotiation method, saved my life
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!
u wouldnt consider someone who is selling a car after owning it only 6k miles is not a bad sign? i think that is a big red flag.
Chrisfix can you show your face in your videos
Mate, making an offer like that in Australia will often result in a few missing teeth and a trip to the emergency room, people down here absolutely hate low ballers, the last car I bought, the bloke wanted $2000, my initial offer was $1300, and we eventually agreed on $1500, Generally when I'm trying to negotiate the price on something, I offer about 70% of the sellers asking price as an initial offer

You just bought a money pit.
There are soo many gems dropped in this video alone. Inspection, sales, hard facts. I'm gonna use this to my advantage when I go look at a Hyundai Sonata 2011 Limited Edition with 170K milage.
You Stress test the guys car and then low ball him after saying you wouldnt... Feel bad for the guy because you basically took advantage of his desperation to sell the car.
Great video!👍
funny how the car ended up having a bunch of problems later and he had to replace it
should not show seller dl# that is sensitive personal information, but thanks for the video
A car like this for 3k$? How... That's so cheap wtf.
Dont you ever try to sell a car to Chris fix. You´ll lose money
Chris with all due respect if someone offers me a 50% of what Im asking for I turn around and I leave. Is noted that is settle from the beginning before filming
owner almost pulled out a gun; when i tested his brakes ABS CHECK just skip it.. Your going have to just gamble it.
Honestly, I would just shop around for a price I'm willing to pay off the jump because I'm weak, I could never negotiate
bro this hurt
This man is literally bain at car
Hi Chris! I just want to say thanks for all the advice because I just bought an e46 320i with £1300 in near perfect condition and I am very happy with it.
If you really wanna get it cheap run into something on the way back from the test drive then complain about the broken bumper and say all I got is 900
In 5:41 in the mirror it’s a eye reveal
This shit dumb ash he is a LTworldsr. LTworldsrs make over 100,000 a year why tf is he being so stingy this don't sit right with me Plus its a foreign car so its worth way more .
Take the car to your mechanic. If they say no, walk away. A few bucks you pay a mechanic now may save you thousands later. This video is ok but an experienced mechanic will tell you the whole story.
Wait you got that for $1900??? I paid 3K for my Miata 🥴🤣
Maybe Chris gave him extra money off camera for the negotiation drama for the benefit of the viewers.
I was expecting 2400 was the great deal... But you did disrespect Frank 🙄
Dint you check engine bay ?
No way Franks last name is Jaguar 😂
Good guy Frank.
I'm very happy he let me film all that to show you guys!
Great video man, nice that we have somebody like you who provides useful tips!
“Don’t low ball the seller” He literally made the seller discount a lot lmao
Frank was robbed.
"Welcome to A Town In New Joisey, name's Frank. Frank Jaguar.
Chris is a negotiating beast🙌 rip Frank.
Hey man, just wanted to say, you’ve really inspired me to get into mechanics! Best channel ever!
I love this video. Thank you!
i just bought a car. i asked to take a test drive and drove it to the dealership of the manufactorer and asked for a drive up prepurchase inspection. they di it for free. i wated 2 hours, went back and gave the seller the cash, grapped the carfax and took it
YOU DOXXED FRANK?!
i cried a bit for frank....
Lol
his last name lol
Great job of negotiating but 1500 felt a little low ball but you took control of the negotiations and walked and called his bluff.
is this a bit? who drops price that low
Someone whos selling a car in pretty rough condition lol
Frank probably realized that he wasn't gonna sell the car soon and took whatever he could get for it at that point because Chris was probably the most serious buyer
Thanks for your video I don't speak car whatsoever so all these videos were really helpful
frank has been franked
can you help me Chris?
How does he know or remember all this stuff
you screwed this guy
Wow...you really know how to negotiate!
It's all about knowing what the car is worth and not getting taken advantage of!
Imagine what will happen if you do hard brake test in the middle of the highway
I am planning buying a 2018 mazda 3 GT with 28000km( $16980) . But it had accident at rear left side. Which coast $6000+, and another accident is un known which also coasted $8000+. It still have 2 year warrant left that gonna cover engine and transmission. Is it a good deal or not ?....plse give me advise ? Thnks
Could you explain "lemon law"? Please and thanks.
“Don’t lowball the seller” Asks for 50% of the price
@ChrisFix the fact you helped fix one of his cars just shows how great of a person you are man, respect
@ChrisFix love that you still reply after all these year😂😂
As stated before: Anytime you pay more than something is worth, you're getting taken advantage of. Like I said in the video, car was worth $2500 if it had no issues, but it needed about $1200 to get it to drive safely (remember this is for my Dad), so the $1900 offer was more than fair (plus he had other people check the car out and they wouldn't even offer anything because this wasn't in that good of shape cosmetically and the aforementioned vibration issue). After this video I did actually fix one of his other cars and saved him $600, so you could argue I gave him $2500 all in!
2 adds gets you 1 thumbs down
ew jaguar x type
Thank you so much! As someone that knows NOTHING about cars, this was extremely helpful for buying my car!
if i found this car in my country it will by around 7,500 $
10:03 "Frank Jaguar, Me: *reads* 123 RIVER ROAD!???!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?!?!?!?!
"the owner won't drop the price 30%!!!" 33% off of $3000 is $2000
"You want to turn the wheel until you can't any more" You NEVER max out a steering rack, terrible advice. Reducing the price because of non original wheels one a nearly junk jag. Great advice. lol
Thanks for sharing and that wasn't the only reason I reduced the price!
staged asf
Hey chrisfix can u do a dare vid u never have a dare vid
A town in new joisey 😂
@Kevin Tancos that’s my dreams shattered 😂
we don’t talk like that 😠😂
thanks bro
What a guy his last name is Jaguar
The owner is also a jaguar 🐆. But he was respectful too
With same condition like this car but different year, like 2017 what is the price? How much you expect?
It surprised me he never mentioned the bodywork there was over £300 of bodywork needed, two bumpers repairing. hole in the sill and dents. However the price he got car for yes was reasonable, I went to see a Mondeo once and because he had a new clutch fitted wante in my opinion £300 more the nwhat the car was worth even in great conditio, I think he was askin £1,400 and at the most private seller was £1,100 maybe £l,500 from a dealer in very good condition. When I went to see the car their was a big dent in the back panel of car, when I took it for its test run and looked around it a few imperfection, however I did like the car and with it having a new clutch and cambelt fitted was worth making a offer, there was a receipt fo £575 for this work, sadly it doesn't put any extra value on the car but it is a good sellingv point. A car as its value and no one is going to go above that only odd people do, I offered him £700 and he went to a £1,000, I gave him reason why I wasn't willing to pay his asking price, to get the car as I would like it was around £600 bodu work, new tyre and a few things which was not good like one of the door handles where broken, mirror taped to car etc. I said I can increase to £795 and he said £900. Well £795 was my final offer and he refused it, however I did have another car to see the following day which I told him, but said I will give him my telephone number if he changes his mind, I think he thought I was having him on. In fact next day went to see this other car, after testing and looking at it he wanted £1,500 but there was a few things wrong with it so got it for £800, he didn't want that but he took it. It had 12 month MOT on it and when I got it home there was two holes in the back so it should of failed MOT, got in touch with him and he didn't want to know. Got in touch with testing station and they wanted to know they paid for repair. The seller of the other car got in touch with me after 3 days after and said I could have the car for £795, sadly to late so Frank was wise in taking the offer. I sympathised with the seller he put £575 in car and would of cleared £220, but it was the serious body workmy brother in law is a body work and painter so he probably charge me £200 but ther was over£400 body work on the car and a further £200 to £300 for other work so £795 was a fair price for the car in that condition. Sadly first seller left it to late had he rang me two days after as at first the other seller turned my offer down but rang me later that day to accept it, I have paid full price for cars as there was another car I got for a£1,000 and that was his asking price, the value private sale was £2,000 and £2,500 dealer. There was about £400 work needed doing so was sellingb well below what it was worth so never even tried to lower him, he had a valid reason for getting rid he lost his job and it was a big car to run and wanted smaller and had a car lined up so wanted quick sale. I had that car 4 years and only replaced clutch 2 years after buying car, brake pads and discs and alternator so not a lot to do on it since my owner ship so got a bargain at a £1,000. Having family knowing car as one in law was a mechanic another the bodywork so know what I am looking at. V
He sold it cheaper because he was being filmed for LTworlds 😂 No one will drop that much.
No one is required to do anything even though I was filming!
This vid yo
Noiiiice vid! :D
Alignment costs $9-10 in metro cities in India, $5 in tier II & III towns...
Thanks for sharing!
u definitely lowballed him i-
This is how much people agree. ⬇️
Dude $1900. You should be ashamed. You're buying used. Totally low balled the man.
As stated in a previous comment: Anytime you pay more than something is worth, you're getting taken advantage of. Great video!

Hello Chris thanks for the video its awesome. I was wondering, after you sign the title why do you take it to the DMV? What happens next? What kind of paper work do you need to get done? I wish if you had explained more in your video. Thank you!
